Spur Outfitters, LLC is looking for the right person to expand its outdoor recreation business. We have operated for nearly 20 years on large private land and water holdings in south-central Wyoming and northern Colorado, specializing in guided big game hunting, fly fishing excursions, and shooting sports. Spur Outfitters is building a 12,800 sq. ft., 20-bedroom lodge and meeting facility on the banks of the upper North Platte River, expected to open in the summer of 2019.

We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter to develop and execute a new marketing strategy and business plan for the lodge. Marketing will be geared toward promoting existing hospitality and recreational activities, and will also be expanded to target wedding events, corporate retreats, and outdoor industry events. The successful applicant will be involved in the daily operation and management of the lodge. Organizing and leading guest activities will also be an important part of the job, including fishing, hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and all other manner of outdoor recreation activities. We are seeking a creative, flexible, organized individual with a passion for hospitality and the Wyoming way of life.

All backgrounds are welcome to apply, although 3 to 5 years of experience in tourism marketing, hospitality, or outdoor leadership are a plus. Help Wanted:
CAMP COOK needed for the 2018 hunting season. Our wall tent camp is located in a remote area and on a large private ranch in the Bighorn Mountains. We are in need of an experienced cook, who is comfortable in a wall tent setting and can handle the cooking chores for up to 8 clients and 4 guides at one time. We will be doing one archery hunt in mid-September and then 3 rifle hunts during October. The archery hunts are 6 days and the rifle hunts are 5 days. Though our camp is in a remote area on private land, you can drive to it, so supplies can be easily acquired. The camp includes a large cook tent, comfortable sleeping tents, a nice shower facility and outhouses. All necessary cooking equipment is supplied.
